FAQ

Questions, answered

How many credits does Seedream 5 Lite cost, and are failed images refunded?

Images start at 9 credits; higher quality levels cost more, and the exact price appears before you generate. Failed generations are refunded automatically. New accounts get 50 free credits, the Free plan adds 50 credits monthly, and Pro includes 1,000 credits per month for $9.90.

Can I use the images commercially?

Yes. Images you generate can be used in ads, stores and social media, subject to NeoMundo's terms of service and the model provider's policies.

Which quality level should I pick?

Use basic to test prompts and compositions, high for most published images, and ultra for hero banners, print or any image where fine texture will be seen up close.

Why is there no auto aspect ratio?

This model uses fixed frames only. Pick from 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3 or 21:9 based on where the image will appear.

Does it render text or keep faces identical?

It can include short text, but for posters and infographics GPT Image 2 is the stronger choice. For the same face or product across many shots, Nano Banana 2 is the better fit.

How fast is this model?

Images usually take 10 to 60 seconds, and the model is built for low latency. You can run up to 8 generations at the same time per account.

Can I animate the results?

Yes. Download an image and use it as the start frame in the video studio with Seedance 2.0 Fast or another video model.

What Seedream 5 Lite Does Well

Low latency for fast iteration

The model is tuned for speed, so you can try a prompt, adjust one detail and try again without long waits. Combined with up to 8 parallel generations per account, a round of eight variations is a short coffee break, not an afternoon.

Sharp 2K, 3K and 4K images

Output comes at 2K, 3K or 4K, so even the quick drafts are large enough for a product page, a blog header or a social post. The 4K images hold up when you crop a detail or place them on a wide banner.

Three quality levels: basic, high, ultra

Basic is the budget setting for exploring ideas. High is the everyday choice for published images. Ultra is for hero visuals where fine texture matters. The credit cost for each level is shown before you generate.

Photographic and illustrative styles

The same model handles clean studio photography, lifestyle scenes, flat illustration and painterly artwork. Say which one you want in the first words of the prompt and it commits to that look.

Up to 14 reference images

Upload product photos, a style sample or a brand palette to keep a batch consistent. References are optional; with none, it works as pure text to image.

What Is Seedream 5 Lite?

Seedream 5 Lite is an image generation model from ByteDance. It is the lightweight, lower-cost member of the Seedream family: it produces sharp photographic and illustrative images at 2K, 3K or 4K with low latency, which makes it a practical engine for batch product images and quick iterations. On NeoMundo it lives in the image studio alongside Nano Banana 2 and GPT Image 2, all paid from one credit balance.

A text prompt is required. You can add up to 14 reference images in JPG, PNG or WebP, each up to 10 MB, to guide the product, subject or style. The model outputs still images and does not accept video or audio.

There are two settings to choose. Aspect ratio has 8 options: 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3 and 21:9. There is no auto option, so choose the frame that matches where the picture will be used. Quality has 3 levels: basic, high and ultra. Pricing starts at 9 credits per image, the lowest starting price among the image models on the site.

Images usually finish in 10 to 60 seconds, and low latency is the whole point of this model. That speed and price make it a sensible first stop: explore ten directions here, then move the winner to another model if it needs heavy text or strict identity matching.

How to Use Seedream 5 Lite on NeoMundo

  1. 01

Step 1: 1. Open the image studio and select the model

Click Try Seedream 5 Lite at the top of this page, or go to /create/image and choose it from the model list. New accounts get 50 free credits, which covers five images at the starting price.

  2. 02

Step 2: 2. Lead with the style, then the subject

Start the prompt with the look, for example studio product photo, watercolor illustration or 35mm street photo, then describe the subject, background, lighting and color. Short, concrete sentences work better than long lists of adjectives.

  3. 03

Step 3: 3. Add references and choose frame and quality

Upload product shots or a style sample if the batch must match. Pick one of the 8 aspect ratios and start with basic quality while you test prompts.

  4. 04

Step 4: 4. Run variations in parallel, then finish on ultra

Launch several variations at once, keep the best one, and regenerate it on high or ultra for the final file. Download each image from your results.

Seedream 5 Lite Use Cases

Batch product images for a catalog

Generate a matching set of listing images for twenty products by reusing the same prompt and swapping the reference photo. Low cost per image keeps large catalogs affordable.

Blog, newsletter and social visuals

Headers, section images and post graphics need volume more than perfection. Use 16:9 for article headers, 1:1 for feeds and 9:16 for stories.

Moodboards and concept exploration

Before a shoot or a design sprint, run a dozen quick directions for lighting, color and set design, then share the strongest frames with the team.

Illustrations and backgrounds

Create flat illustrations, textures, wallpapers and 21:9 website backgrounds in the style you describe, at a resolution that fills large screens.
