FAQ

Questions, answered

What files do I need for AI motion control?

One character image (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB) and one reference video (MP4 or MOV, roughly 3–30 seconds, up to 100 MB). Video Swap accepts up to 4 images of the new subject.

What is the difference between motion transfer and AI video swap?

Motion transfer keeps your character image and borrows the movement from the video, creating a brand-new clip. AI video swap keeps the original video, including its camera movement and timing, and replaces the person or product inside it.

How many credits does it cost, and are failed jobs refunded?

Starting costs are 231 credits for Motion Control, 264 for Video Swap, 99 for Character Replace and 264 for Video Edit. The exact cost appears before you start and depends on resolution. Failed generations are refunded automatically. New accounts get 50 free credits, and Pro includes 1,000 credits per month.

Can I use the results commercially?

Yes. Content you generate can be used in ads, online stores and social media, subject to the terms of service and the model providers' policies. Make sure you hold the rights to the reference video and the images you upload.

What makes a good reference video?

A steady clip with one clearly visible performer, the full body in frame and even lighting. Fast cuts, heavy occlusion or several people at once make the motion harder to read.

Which of the 4 tools should I pick?

Use Motion Control to animate a character image, Video Swap to change the subject of a clip with a prompt, Character Replace for a prompt-free swap at up to 720p, and Video Edit to change style, outfits or details with a written instruction.

Is any content blocked?

What Is AI Motion Control?

AI motion control is a way to animate a still character with movement taken from real footage. Instead of describing a dance or a gesture in words, you show it: upload a reference video, add a character image, and the model maps the body motion and timing from the clip onto your character. The result is a new video in which your character performs the same moves while keeping its own face, hair and clothing.

This technique is often called motion transfer. It solves a problem that text prompts struggle with: precise choreography. A prompt such as "a woman dances in a studio" lets the model invent the moves, while a reference clip fixes every step, turn and hand position. That makes AI motion control a practical choice for dance trends, product demos that need one specific gesture, and mascots that must repeat a known action.

NeoMundo groups four related tools on /create/motion. Kling 3.0 Motion Control moves the action from a video onto an image. Video Swap, built on Kling 3.0 Omni, is an AI video swap tool: it keeps the original clip and changes who or what appears in it. Character Replace (Wan 2.2 Animate) swaps the performer frame by frame without a prompt, and Video Edit (Wan 2.7) changes a clip from a written instruction.

All four tools share one credit balance with the other 9 models in the studio. You can design a character with Nano Banana 2 or GPT Image 2, then bring it into motion without leaving the site. Videos usually finish in 1–5 minutes, and up to 8 generations can run at the same time per account.

How to Use AI Motion Control in 4 Steps

  1. 01

    Step 1: Choose a tool

Open /create/motion and pick Motion Control, Video Swap, Character Replace or Video Edit. Each tool lists its required inputs and its starting credit cost before you upload anything.

  2. 02

Step 2: Upload your character and reference clip

Add a character image (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB) and a reference video in MP4 or MOV, roughly 3–30 seconds long. For Video Swap you can add up to 4 images of the new subject. Pick a clip where the full body stays in frame for cleaner results.

  3. 03

Step 3: Set resolution and an optional prompt

Pick 720p or 1080p, or 480p to 720p for Character Replace. Video Swap and Video Edit need a short prompt describing the change; Motion Control treats the prompt as optional, and Character Replace does not use one.

  4. 04

Step 4: Generate, review and download

Check the credit cost shown on the button and start. Most jobs finish in about 1–5 minutes. Download the MP4, keep it private, or share it to the community so other creators can remix it.

AI Motion Control Use Cases

Dance and trend videos

Apply a trending dance from a reference clip to your own character, mascot or avatar and export it in 9:16 for short-video feeds.

Brand mascots and virtual characters

Keep one illustrated mascot and drive it with different reference clips: a wave for a greeting, a jump for a launch, a bow for a thank-you post.

Ad and product localization

Use AI video swap to replace the product or presenter in a finished ad with a new item or a different person, keeping the original camera moves and pacing.

Previs and creative edits

Block out a scene with a stand-in, then use Character Replace to put your designed character into the shot, or Video Edit to test a new outfit or look from a prompt.
